Job summary

Avion Hospitality seeks a Banquet Captain to supervise and assist with the setup, service, and cleanup of all assigned banquet functions. You will ensure adherence to brand standards, safety rules, and quality service.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations while coordinating with Sales/Catering and in-house teams to deliver exceptional events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification required to comply with state regulations.
• Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with set-up of banquet functions.
• Inspect banquet setup and ensure standards are met.
• Coordinate with Sales/Catering and in-house staff.
• Respond to guests' problems and communicate issues to management.
• Handover and maintain Banquet Work Schedule and wage reports.
• Assist in service, setup, and breakdown of banquets.
