Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a team member to support banquet operations in a hotel setting. You will assist with setup, maintain cleanliness, manage storerooms, and ensure safety compliance for all event spaces.

The role requires clear communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record. This on-site position supports meeting and event functions with attention to detail and guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record).
• Clear communication of information and ideas.
• Ability to evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Ensure correct and timely setup of all Banquet Event Order functions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in banquet spaces, pre-function areas, and storage rooms.
• Keep banquet storeroom organized and stocked with supplies for meetings or food service.
• Be familiar with fire exits and extinguisher locations, adhering to safety rules.
• Break down function setups after completion and store equipment and supplies properly.
• Notify management of hazards or safety concerns.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
