A Hiring Company is seeking a talented and dependable full-time Banquet Chef for Rumson Country Club. This role plays a key part in supporting the busy banquet, wedding, and golf outing operations. The ideal candidate is punctual and organized, with a passion for food and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking and plating menu items, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position offers a hourly pay range of $24.00 to $28.00 along with health, dental, and vision insurance as well as paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a relevant position in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times.
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages.
