Job summary

Maggiano's Little Italy in Denver is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to drive banquet and catering business. You will respond quickly to leads, qualify events, and prepare proposals to win deposits and contracts.

You will hand off booked events to the Event Manager and collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong organization, closing focus, and exceptional guest service to convert inquiries into confirmed events.

Responsibilities

• Manage all banquet and catering leads via web, phone, and walk-ins.
• Respond to inquiries within established response times.
• Qualify events based on size, date, budget, and feasibility.
• Build customized proposals and event packages based on guest needs.
• Present menu options, pricing, room availability, and event details clearly.
• Secure deposits and signed contracts to confirm events.
• Enter, track, and update opportunities in the CRM.
• Meet monthly/quarterly sales and conversion goals.
• Coordinate handoffs to the Event Manager once booked.
• Collaborate with banquet, culinary, and management teams for alignment.
• Provide timely communication with guests.
• Assist guests with basic event questions (A/V, linens, etc).
• Maintain organized event files and notes.
• Handle adjustments prior to handoff; participate in weekly reviews.
• Support outbound sales during peak seasons.
