Job summary

Maggiano's Little Italy in Philadelphia is seeking an Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and flawlessly execute banquet events from handoff to on-site delivery. You will own timelines, room setups, seating, staffing, menus, and day-of execution, partnering with Sales, Culinary, and Restaurant Leadership to ensure a superior guest experience.

Candidates should have at least 3 years in hotel, catering, or banquet operations, and strong organizational and guest-service skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel, catering, or banquet operations.
• Ability to read and execute BEOs, layouts, and contracts.
• Excellent guest-service and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with banquet systems, CRM, or event software.

Responsibilities

• Own all event details from handoff to on-site execution.
• Review contracts, BEOs, and event notes for accuracy.
• Create and manage timelines, layouts, seating charts, and room assignments.
• Coordinate menu selections, dietary needs, and service style.
• Schedule banquet staff and lead day-of execution.
• Monitor profitability and track guest experience KPIs.
