Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a National Bankruptcy Processor who will protect the client's interests by reviewing loans and taking necessary actions for legal action. The role involves auditing ledgers, reviewing motions, and ensuring proper application of funds and documents throughout the case lifecycle.

Responsibilities include preparing referrals for Motions for Relief, monitoring stipulations, reviewing court mail, and updating client systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
• Familiar with LPS system and modules.
• Strong numerical ability and basic accounting.

Responsibilities

• Review loans for potential legal action and audit ledgers.
• Prepare referrals for Motions for Relief and assist with necessary figures.
• Review court mail, update firm and client systems, and file as needed.
• Move non-active files toward closing and monitor reports for timeliness.
• Identify impediments, escalate, and coordinate with local counsel as required.
