Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP in Plano, TX seeks a Bankruptcy Intake Processor to manage opening and reviewing high volumes of Legal Referrals from multiple clients using our internal case management system.

Responsibilities include downloading documents from client systems and PACER, verifying information, requesting missing items, and routing files to the appropriate attorney. The role supports fast-paced operations with strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Bankruptcy experience preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to open and review high volumes of new referrals.
• Must communicate with coworkers, attorneys and staff regarding files.
• Must be able to interpret client systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
• Must be organized and multi-task oriented.
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Open new Legal Referrals in internal case management software.
• Download all documents from client systems and PACER.
• Review referrals for information and documents according to client/court/judge requirements in order to proceed with the file.
• Request and follow-up on missing information or documents necessary to proceed with the file; forward complete files to appropriate department/attorney to ensure timely handling.
• Assist with additional projects as needed.
