Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP seeks a National Bankruptcy Processor to support workflow around Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases. The role focuses on reviewing plans, preparing Proofs of Claim, and monitoring motions and transfers to protect clients’ interests.

This remote, hourly position requires diligent numerical skills, familiarity with LPS, and the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accurate client system data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two+ years of bankruptcy or mortgage servicing experience.
• Usage of LPS is required; familiar with LPS facets.
• Basic understanding of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies.
• Proficient with numbers and basic accounting.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Review Chapter 13 Plans across jurisdictions and update client system.
• Prepare Proofs of Claim and amendments in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Review Transfer of Claims and ensure trustee system updates.
• Refer to local counsel for motions to allow late claims and monitor until order entry.
• Prepare referrals for Motions for Relief and audit ledgers for accuracy.
• Review Notices of Final Cure and ensure proper billing and dispositional actions.
• Close cases and ensure proper status and coding in AACER.
