Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP seeks a Bankruptcy Intake Processor to open and review high volumes of new Legal Referrals from multiple clients. This role supports fast-paced workflow and requires meticulous attention to documentation and client requirements.

You will use internal case management tools, gather documents from client systems and PACER, and ensure referrals are complete before routing to the appropriate attorney.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bankruptcy experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, attorneys and staff about files.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open new Legal Referrals in the internal case management system.
• Download documents from client systems and PACER.
• Review referrals for information and documents per client/court requirements.
• Request and follow up on missing information needed to proceed.
• Forward complete files to appropriate department/attorney for timely handling.
• Assist with additional projects as needed.
