Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a National Bankruptcy Processor to protect the client’s interest by reviewing loans for possible legal action and taking essential steps without requiring client requests. This role supports remote work arrangements.

Duties include reviewing Chapter 13 plans, preparing proofs of claim and amendments, tracking transfers, handling motions to allow late claims and relief, and ensuring accurate ledger entries and timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two+ years in bankruptcy and/or mortgage servicing field
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• Familiarity with LPS and related processes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review Chapter 13 plans across jurisdictions and update client systems
• Prepare Proofs of Claim and amendments; assess arrears and balances
• Handle Transfer of Claims and monitor Motions to Allow Late Claims
• Review Notices of Final Cure and Closings; audit ledgers for accuracy
• Regularly monitor case progress and communicate findings to clients
