Job summary

First Security Bank is seeking a proactive operations leader to manage professional/technical services across assigned regions. You will guide staff, ensure policy compliance, and promote excellent customer service while maintaining strong branch operations.

The role requires at least three years in banking with supervisory experience, a business or finance degree, and a valid driver's license. You will also drive training, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of combined banking and supervisory experience and/or training.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Must possess current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and complete all projects as assigned; provide quality control to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Actively participate as a member of operations/retail teams; suggest improvements and implement policies.
• Provide leadership and management to staff; develop guidance and trust within the team.
• Step in to perform teller and banker duties as needed to ensure smooth branch operations.
• Ensure branch open/ready for business and adequate staffing; manage schedules and payroll timelines.
• Provide staff training to ensure efficient and courteous service; maintain knowledge of products and procedures.
• Lead through change with a positive attitude; support department, division and company initiatives.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions; review performance and set improvement plans.
• Perform annual reviews; communicate results and follow-up action items.
• Address performance issues and resolve conflicts; coordinate with HR as needed.
• Assist with policy/product/service/system implementations to improve daily operations.
• Remain current on new products/services and industry trends for potential use.
