Job summary

Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager/Leader to manage daily branch operations, coach staff, and drive service excellence. You will hire, onboard, and develop the team, ensuring strong member service and effective use of resources.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in a financial institution with leadership and strong knowledge of cash handling, security, and regulatory requirements. This role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of financial institution experience with at least 1 year in leadership.
Comprehensive knowledge of cash operations, security, and management.
Advanced knowledge of PCs, Microsoft applications and various office automation software.
Ability to obtain MLO registration within 180 days and pass background checks as required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily branch operations and lead the team in partnership with the Branch Manager.
Develop business, deepen member relationships, and promote a service culture through coaching and staff motivation.
Hire, onboard, and conduct regular reviews to retain top talent and ensure training effectiveness.
Manage branch coverage, scheduling, and area coverage to ensure high service levels.
Monitor sales, budgets, and branch compliance; prepare and analyze management reports and audits.
Assist with branch transactions during staff shortages and drive cross-selling opportunities.
