Job summary

SouthState Bank is hiring a Customer Care Representative to deliver superior service to external and internal customers. You will address inquiries, provide guidance on accounts, digital banking, and debit cards, while maintaining trust and compliance with bank procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to work 11am-8pm EST with rotating Saturdays. Must reside within SC, FL, TX, or CO and be able to work remotely within those constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience in inbound call center customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult customers professionally.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems to resolve inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve customer inquiries with first call resolution.
• Respond to inbound and outbound inquiries with accurate information.
• Provide digital banking support and assist with account-related questions.
• Assist with debit card support, Reg-E disputes, and password resets.
• Promote virtual branch solutions and meet quality/productivity goals.
• Maintain security of customer information and verify identity on calls.
