Job summary

Truist seeks a Regular full-time Teller to provide accurate client transactions and proactive service at our Florida branch. You’ll guide customers on digital banking options and assist with outbound calls and sales referrals.

The role requires 2 years of teller or cash handling experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic branch environment. Weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and executing transactions with accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions to enhance their service experience.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Maintain awareness of policies, procedures, and internal controls for compliance.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
