Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular Full-Time Teller/Client Specialist to provide a high-quality client experience, process transactions, and educate customers on digital banking tools. The role involves outbound outreach, cross-selling opportunities, and adherence to risk controls.

The position requires strong communication, PC skills, and ability to travel for temporary staffing needs. Evening/weekend hours and travel may be required depending on branch needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversations and handle complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service options (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay updated on policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
