Job summary

Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A. is seeking a Banking Center Manager in New Haven, CT to lead all banking center operations, drive sales and client retention, and develop staff.

The role requires 5–7 years in banking with strong leadership, customer service, and product knowledge. You will manage audits, compliance, and cross-sell initiatives while partnering with segments to grow profitability.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of banking experience with leadership, customer service, managerial, communication and organization skills.
• Intricate knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, organizational and communication skills; comfortable with current technology.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meet/exceed all sales goals, retention goals, and SSQ standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage a detailed business plan and team goals.
• Expand and retain client relationships; cross-sell bank initiatives.
• Identify key customer segment relationships through sales and referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of assets, liabilities, and partner products and services.
• Coach and develop the team; model leadership and accountability.
• Ensure audits are completed timely and branch operations meet requirements.
