Job summary

Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A. is seeking a Banking Center Supervisor to assist the Banking Center Manager in achieving sales, service, and operational goals across the branch.

You will work with clients and prospects to deepen share of wallet and coach staff to cross-sell products. You will help ensure audits are completed, maintain compliance with laws and bank policies, and support a strong team culture through mentoring and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork, creating a positive working environment.
• Ability to travel to various Banking Centers within the regions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banking Center Manager with achievement of banking center sales, customer service, P&L management, operations, and employee development.
• Assumes responsibility for the banking center in the Manager’s absence and ensures exceptional client experience.
• Achieve/exceed individual sales, service & operations targets.
• Process routine banking transactions accurately; prepare/open client accounts.
• Build COIs by networking to propagate the bank brand and create value.
• Use lead management tools to document activities (e.g., Salesforce).
• Support segmentation strategy with existing clients to drive growth and profitability.
• Assist with audits and operational standards compliance.
