Job summary

Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A., is seeking a Banking Center Supervisor to support the branch in CT, deepen client relationships, and drive cross-sell opportunities. You will mentor staff, ensure excellent client experience, and help the team meet sales and service goals.

You will process routine transactions, manage audits, and collaborate with regional teams while maintaining compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of all banking products and services.
• Keeps current with branch transaction processing systems.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills; ability to lead by example.
• Travel to various Banking Centers within the region.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banking Center Manager with sales, service, P&L, operations, and staff development.
• Cover Banking Center in Manager's absence; ensure exceptional client experience.
• Meet or exceed individual sales, service, and operations targets.
• Process routine banking transactions and compile client information to open accounts.
• Build COIs by networking to promote the bank brand.
• Use lead management tools (e.g., Salesforce) to document activities.
• Support segmentation with existing clients and bank initiatives for growth.
• Assist with audits and operational standards compliance.
• Ensure compliance with laws and bank policies; meet branch evaluation targets.
• Mentor colleagues to adhere to sales and service processes and lead by example.
