Job summary

First Merchants Bank seeks a Banking Center Manager to lead our Crown Point, IN location. Focus areas include developing sales plans, coaching staff, and ensuring operational soundness of the banking center.

You will craft aggressive sales/marketing plans to drive deposits, loans and referrals, conduct outside calls, open accounts, and process loan applications. Emphasis on coaching, teamwork, and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of sales, management, banking, or related experience including supervisory role.
• S.A.F.E Act registration through NMLS required within 3 months of hire.
• Notary Public designation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and compliance of the banking center.
• Develop and implement aggressive sales/marketing strategies to drive deposits, loans, and referrals.
• Conduct outside sales calls to nurture relationships and grow market share.
• Open accounts and process loan applications for consumer and business clients.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints using service-to-sales techniques.
• Lead and coach staff; conduct weekly sales and pipeline meetings; provide monthly coaching on sales and service behaviors.
