Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager to join our team. This role focuses on developing and implementing sales plans, coaching staff, providing strong managerial leadership, and overseeing the operations of the banking center.

You will lead outside business development activities, market banking services, and ensure service excellence. A High School diploma or GED is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and Notary Public designation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; notary designation required or pursued.
• Minimum 3 years in sales, management, banking, or supervisory roles.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and NMLS knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and compliance of the banking center.
• Develop and implement aggressive sales and marketing strategies to drive deposits, loans and referrals.
• Open accounts and process loan applications for consumer and business customers.
• Coach and develop banking center staff through established sales routines and meetings.
