Job summary

Woodforest National Bank in Tennessee is seeking a Branch Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, delivering the Woodforest Experience by building retail relationships and proactively marketing products. You will engage customers, explain banking options, and drive branch growth with a professional, friendly approach.

In this role you will handle teller duties, account openings, and digital banking support while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first contact with internal partners as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transactions, account openings, and regulatory compliance.
• Explain complex banking solutions in simple terms to customers.
