Job summary

Northwest Bank in Utah seeks a Help Desk Specialist to resolve, triage, and track all internal technical assistance requests. You will work with IT team members and bank staff to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of systems, applications, printers, phones, and mobile devices.

The ideal candidate provides first/second line support, adheres to ITIL standards, and offers training and knowledge resources while maintaining excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service skills.
• 1–2 years support experience in banking or financial systems preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, workstations, phones, etc.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with minimal guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level IT service desk support for internal employees.
• Manage service desk tickets following ITIL standards and SLAs.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords; install and repair hardware/software.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party vendors.
• Provide training and develop knowledge base articles for staff.
• Communicate downtime or maintenance to appropriate staff.
• Keep current with latest technologies and job knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
