Affirm is seeking a Bank Controller to lead the formation and ongoing financial operations of the Affirm Bank. Reporting to the Bank CFO, you will oversee day-to-day accounting, GL, and system integrations while building out a robust regulatory reporting function.

You will manage the bank accounting team, drive compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to scale processes in a remote-first environment across the United States.

Qualifikationen

• CPA or CA designation.
• 10+ years of accounting, finance or treasury-related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
• Experience building tools and processes to scale an accounting team.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Proven skills in analysis, cash management and modeling.
• Very detail oriented with strong critical thinking.
• Strategic, goal driven, with a can-do attitude.

Aufgaben

• Build and lead the Bank accounting team with strategic direction and coaching.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, including intercompany alignment.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting to internal/external stakeholders and regulators.
• Develop and operate a regulatory reporting function for filings (FFIEC, FRB).
• Coordinate the annual bank financial statement audit with external auditors.
• Partner with engineering/product to automate accounting/reporting processes.
• Manage additional financial analyses and projects as needed.
