M&T Bank Corporation is seeking a Branch Manager in Scarborough, ME to lead a customer-focused team and drive sales and service excellence. You will ensure branch operations run smoothly, manage risk, and coach staff to achieve growth objectives.

The role emphasizes building lasting relationships with customers and the community, with licensing requirements and ongoing training to support product knowledge and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum three years sales experience.
• Minimum two years managerial experience or proven leadership abilities.
• Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing required within 18 months of entry.
• Branch provides training for licensing within 6 months.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of Business Banking products and client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead the branch team to achieve annual sales and profitability goals and oversee branch operations.
• Maintain federal registration requirements under the SAFE Act and stay current on operational changes.
• Develop talent and coach staff to grow and succeed.
• Grow the business through proactive sales and outside calling activities and foster partnerships across bank areas.
