Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Minimum three years of sales experience.
• Minimum two years of managerial experience.
• Licensing in Life/Accident and Health within 18 months of entry.
• M&T Way Certified; Precision Leadership; Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Office; Internet and email experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales and business development to meet annual goals and profitability.
• Lead branch team through coaching, performance management and priorities.
• Builds and develops branch staff.
• Identify Retail and Business Banking needs and provide solutions.
• Grow Business Banking relationships through proactive outreach.
• Ensure compliance with policies and risk controls; manage customer issues.
• Own complex account servicing and escalations; coach for improvement.
