Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes team is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Baltimore, MD territory. The role focuses on clinical sales to surgeons, assisting in operating room procedures, and driving adoption of advanced orthopaedic solutions.

Qualified candidates will have a relevant degree or medical certification, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel. This position offers exposure to high-impact medical devices in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; clinical or medical background preferred.
• Experience in medical devices sales or healthcare environment advantageous.
• Ability to travel, including weekends or overnights.

Responsibilities

• Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and expanding existing customer base.
• Guide surgeons in the operating room with clinical/product knowledge; demonstrate proper use of DePuy Synthes products.
• Attend surgeries and provide OR/ Sterile Processing consultation; ensure equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support; manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share insights with sales and marketing teams to improve service levels; prepare reports.
• Maintain equipment/instrument inventory and ensure promotional materials are current.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and differentiate DPS products with value propositions.
