Bala Consulting Engineers seeks a Baltimore, MD based Business Development professional to pursue opportunities, cultivate relationships, and lead local initiatives. The role requires office presence and collaboration with internal teams while engaging with clients and decision makers in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years in sales/BD/marketing, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and experience with architectural/engineering markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in sales, business development or marketing.
• Experience in the architectural, engineering and construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Baltimore, MD area business development responsibilities and pursue opportunities.
• Engage with clients locally and interact with external stakeholders and markets.
• Define local business development strategies and goals with Senior Leadership.
• Participate in Baltimore area industry events and organizations.
• Secure meetings with decision makers and collaborate on pursuits across offices.
• Maintain CRM database (HubSpot) and assist in RFP responses and proposals.
• Collaborate with marketing on content creation and campaigns.
