Job summary

Sheridan New Hampshire is seeking a Baler Technician for the 12‑hour night shift (7pm–7am) to support our recycling and paper by‑product processing. You’ll operate baling equipment, weigh and document bale data, and transport finished bales with pallet jacks or forklifts.

We offer hands‑on training, overtime opportunities, and a path for growth in a stable, manufacturing environment. Previous baler or forklift experience is a plus, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and ability to record weights and production data.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling equipment that shreds, compresses, and bale paper by‑products.
• Thread and secure tie bands around completed bales.
• Move finished bales using pallet jacks, hoist trucks, or forklifts.
• Weigh bales and keep accurate records of weights and grades.
• Perform forklift inspections and complete equipment checklists.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain baling equipment.
• Clear paper obstructions from cyclone system as needed.
• Assist with loading bales for shipment and complete shipping docs as needed.
• Photograph containers/seals for shipment verification when required.
• Follow safe work practices with a supportive team.
