Sheridan New Hampshire is hiring a Baler Technician for 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) to operate recycling equipment, bale paper by‑products, and keep production moving. This full‑time role offers on‑site training, overtime opportunities, and a pathway to career growth within a stable manufacturing environment.

You will thread tie bands, weigh bales, perform forklift checks, and maintain safety while handling paper in a fast‑paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills to record weights and production data.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with machinery.
• Dependable, safety‑focused with a quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling equipment that shreds, compresses, and bales paper by‑products.
• Thread and secure tie bands around completed bales.
• Move finished bales using pallet jacks, hoist trucks, or forklifts and transport to storage.
• Weigh bales and maintain records of weights and material grades.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and complete equipment checklists.
• Light maintenance on baling equipment and routine cleaning.
