Sheridan New Hampshire is seeking a reliable Baler Technician for 12-hour night shifts. You will operate recycling equipment to bale paper by-products and ensure safe handling, weighing, and shipping documentation.

Training is provided for all new hires along with opportunities to advance in a growing printing and recycling operation. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and a mechanical mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills to record weights and production data.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in operating equipment.
• Reliable, safety‑mocused, team‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling equipment to shred, compress, and bale paper by‑products.
• Thread and secure tie bands around finished bales.
• Move finished bales to storage using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Weigh bales and record weights and material grades.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and maintain equipment checklists.
• Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance on baling equipment.
• Clear paper obstructions and assist with loading bales for shipment.
