Job summary

Richmond Baking is seeking a Mixer to efficiently produce safe, high-quality bakery products by following mixing guidelines and critical control points. The role requires strict adherence to Plex procedures, GMPs, and HACCP standards.

You will assist with changeovers, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate scrap handling. The job includes lifting up to 50 lbs and complying with all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Maintain safe, high-quality product output by following processes and monitoring critical control points.
• Follow mixing guidelines including Plex procedures.
• Adhere to break/lunch relief procedures.
• Comply with safety policies and report unsafe acts immediately.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs repetitively.
• Meet AIB, SQF, company and governmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production of safe and high-quality products through verification of all processes and Critical Control Points.
• Understand, learn and follow all mixing guidelines including Plex procedures.
• Adhere to proper break/lunch relief procedures.
• Recognize potential product quality issues and notify Quality and Supervision.
• Follow GMPs and HACCP procedures; handle color-coded containers correctly.
• Assist with changeovers to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Keep work area clean and scrap materials properly disposed.
• Weigh and collect scrap containers at shift end and at changeovers.
• Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs repetitively.
• Other duties as assigned.
