Richmond Baking Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the reliability of buildings and equipment in our facility. The role focuses on sanitation compliance, electrical drawings, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, clean production lines.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 2–6 years in manufacturing or related settings; food industry experience is a plus. Willingness to work across shifts and respond to emergencies is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 2–6 years in manufacturing or distribution.
• Food industry background a plus; equivalent education/experience considered.

Mansioni

• Maintain buildings and equipment to keep them in proper working order.
• Keep the plant screened and rodent proofed; install barriers to prevent contamination.
• Keep tools and parts separate from product zones; follow sanitation guidelines.
• Read electrical drawings and blueprints; work with electrical systems.
• Wire up and repair control panels, starters, disconnects, meters, and switches.
• Be available for emergency breakdowns and multi-shift coverage as needed.
• Light, maintain, and start ovens and equipment; keep work areas clean.
• Lubricate machinery and keep records; assist with other trades as needed.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, and safety policies; complete paperwork promptly.
• Capable of lifting 50 lb frequently; support team with setup tasks.
• Contribute to meeting AIB, SQF, and government standards.
