Job summary

Crumbl Mixers in Metairie, LA is seeking a friendly, efficient Mixer to bake items with quality and speed. You will read recipes, operate mixers and ovens, decorate products, and ensure orders are prepared accurately for pickup or delivery.

Ideal candidates are organized, attentive, and committed to food safety and presentation. You will greet customers, assist with questions, maintain clean workstations, and help with inventory and deliveries. Must be 18+ by Louisiana law to operate the mixer.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or bakery preferred.
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients using mixers and blenders; follow safety rules.
• Decorate and display finished products.
• Test ingredients and finished goods for quality and safety.
• Greet customers, answer questions, suggest items, take orders and payments.
• Maintain records of deliveries, inventory, and production levels.

Crumbl Mixers will execute and understand recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products, use icing, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation, and process orders from customers. Mixers will greet customers, answer questions, clean workstations and equipment, and perform other duties to ensure that customer needs are satisfied, and the bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly.

To be a successful Mixer, an individual should be efficient and friendly with a focus on food quality and customer satisfaction. They should be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of baking techniques.

Mixer Job Responsibilities:

• Reading and understand recipes.
• Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make cookies. (Required to be 18+ years old by Louisiana law to use the industrial mixer)
• Decorating and displaying finished product
• Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
• Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
• Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Cleaning and restocking workstation and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
