Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods in a fast-paced setting. You’ll assist in pricing, merchandising, stocking, and ensuring product quality while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 18+ with bakery experience or a suitable combination of education and experience, plus a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a customer-focused store.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize the bakery area and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and package baked goods for sale.
• Assist Bakery Manager in pricing, merchandising, and stocking baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain cleanliness of the department.
• Keep shelves clean, organized, and free of spills; maintain safety of equipment.
• Receive and inspect shipments for accuracy and quality.
