Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in pricing, merchandising, and maintaining a clean bakery area while handling shipments and quality checks.

The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma, bakery experience, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years bakery experience
Able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays
Outgoing and friendly with the ability to interact with customers
Good communication and ability to work well in a team
Able to answer phones and take special orders
Maintain a clean and sanitary bakery area
Stand up to 3 hours at a time, lift up to 40 lbs, move items up to 36 ft

Responsibilities

Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are presented neatly
Keep the bakery area clean, safe, and sanitary
Stock, rotate, and price bakery items; discard outdated products
Receive and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
