Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to assist the Bakery Manager with preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods. You will provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and safety in the bakery area.

The role requires 18+, high school diploma, 1–2 years bakery experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience preferred.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to follow directions.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager with preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; sweep and clean as needed.
• Stock, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments; ensure product quality and temperature.
