Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Team Lead (Manager on Duty) to work with the Bakery Manager and staff to deliver high-quality cakes and an exceptional guest experience. The role involves coordinating guest service, cake production, inventory, and daily operations while upholding NbC standards and health guidelines.

The Team Lead will train team members, manage schedules, supervise special orders, and assist with marketing events to bring the NbC brand to life for guests and team members alike.

Qualifications

• Experience leading bakery or food-service teams.
• Ability to train staff and provide feedback.
• Strong guest engagement and service mindset.
• Knowledge of food safety and health standards.
• Availability to cover opening/closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest experience and model superior guest engagement.
• Schedule work to ensure orders are ready for pick-up or delivery times.
• Lead all aspects of guest experience, cake production, and merchandising with the Bakery Manager.
• Assist in training team members and providing performance feedback.
• Ensure health, safety, and NbC standards are maintained across bakery operations.
• Assist with cake production planning, inventory, payroll, and expense controls as needed.
• Oversee special orders and large deliveries to corporate accounts.
• Open and close the bakery, balancing cash drawers and deposits.
• Support local marketing efforts and brand events.
• Maintain knowledge of all bakery roles to cover duties as needed.
• Adhere to dress code and personal hygiene requirements.
