Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Frisco, Texas to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver premium cakes and a welcoming guest experience.

You will help lead cake production, brand presentation, scheduling, and inventory, while upholding NbC standards and food safety policies. The role emphasizes servant leadership and accountability to drive sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or foodservice, preferably in a lead role.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfort with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and models superior guest engagement.
• Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, presentation, and inventory control.
• Supports recruitment, training, and performance coaching of team members.
• Ensure bakery standards, food safety and NbC policies are followed.
• Assist in scheduling, supply ordering, payroll and basic expense control.
• Co-manage large orders and deliveries for guests and corporate accounts.
• Open/close the bakery and balance cash drawers.
• Support local marketing events and brand-building activities.
• Maintain knowledge of all bakery roles and perform tasks as needed.
