Nothing Bundt Cakes in Prosper, TX is looking for an Assistant Bakery Manager to join the team and work with the Bakery Operator to deliver top-quality cakes and a warm guest experience. You will share in leadership and help drive sales and profitability while ensuring NbC standards are followed.

You’ll supervise daily operations, schedule staff, manage inventory, and support brand-building events to engage the local community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or foodservice, preferably in a lead role.
• Valid driver’s license required due to driving responsibilities.
• Foodservice safety training or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Experience coaching others, training new team members and achieving productivity goals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes guest experience and models superior engagement.
• Leads all aspects of guest experience, cake production and presentation with Bakery Operator.
• Recruits, trains, and coaches team members and directs daily work.
• Ensures product, service, bakery environment and safety standards are met.
• Executes operational tasks including scheduling, inventory, sales reporting and payroll processing.
• Co-manages special orders for individuals and corporate accounts.
• Assists with opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Supports local marketing events and brand-building activities.
• Maintains hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles to support business needs.
