Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Frisco to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver the highest quality cakes and guest experiences. You will help lead cake production, merchandising, and day-to-day operations while upholding NbC standards.

The role emphasizes team development, sales support, and hands-on involvement across bakery functions, including scheduling, inventory, and basic accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail or food service.
• Experience coaching others, training new team members, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest experience and foster a positive work environment.
• Lead aspects of guest experience, cake production, merchandising and inventory control.
• Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Ensure standards meet NbC policies and health/safety requirements.
• Support opening/closing operations with cash handling and deposits.
• Coordinate special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts.
• Contribute to marketing events and community engagement.
• Maintain knowledge of all bakery roles and cross-train as needed.
