Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work closely with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and high-quality cakes. You will help drive sales, lead shifts, and ensure adherence to NbC standards across operations, safety, and merchandising.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff development, and collaboration to maintain a welcoming environment and strong local community presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or foodservice environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation required and must pass an MVR.
• Demonstrated success coaching others, directing work and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize guest experience and model superior guest engagement.
• Partner with Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, merchandising, work environment, P&L management and inventory control.
• Support Bakery Manager in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing feedback and coaching.
• Ensure NbC standards for product, service, environment and safety are upheld.
• Assist in operational and administrative tasks including scheduling, ordering, and payroll processing.
