Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will focus on delivering excellent customer service while maintaining product quality in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires coordinating merchandising, overseeing inventory, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards across the bakery department, with opportunities for growth in a busy, health-focused grocery environment.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years old with 2 years of retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Be outgoing, friendly with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other deli equipment.
• Stand for up to 3 hours at a time and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily supervision of Bakery Department operations.
• Assist in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery products.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
