Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in a fast-paced grocery environment. You will supervise Bakery Clerks, support the Bakery Manager, and help optimize department productivity and displays.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory controls, quality assurance, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; capable of receiving and following directions.
• Able to answer phones, take special orders, and perform general housekeeping in the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Order inventory, supervise the Bakery team, and monitor product quality.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays; oversee inbound cases for damage.
• Deliver excellent customer service and monitor bakery product quality.
• Operate deli equipment, unload deliveries, and ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
