Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to support daily bakery operations, merchandising, and team supervision in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. In this role you will help manage inventory, build appealing displays, check product quality, and enforce health and safety standards while delivering exceptional service to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with strong customer service.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to answer phones and handle special orders.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Operate bakery equipment and weigh/label products.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and monitor product quality.
• Unload deliveries and operate bakery equipment as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Thrive in fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
