Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage department productivity, inventory controls, product quality, and displays, while upholding safety and sanitation guidelines and training team members to do the same.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in retail grocery.
• At least 18 years old with a minimum of two years retail grocery experience.
• Willingness to work night, weekends, and holidays.
• Must adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Supervise Bakery Clerks and assist in daily supervision of Bakery Department operations.
• Ensure inventory controls, product quality, and displays are maintained.
• Monitor incoming deliveries for quality and accuracy; unload and sort items.
• Enforce health and safety guidelines across the Bakery team.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle special orders as needed.
