Sprouts Farmers Market in Arvada, CO is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You’ll focus on customer service, product quality, and efficient department supervision.

This role requires at least two years in retail grocery and two years of supervisory experience, with strong communication and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks in a bakery setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other Bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures.
