Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to give and take direction in a team environment.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 40 lbs. for extended periods.
• Adhere to safety regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and monitor bakery product quality.
