Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will help manage merchandising, inventory, product quality, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail grocery and 2 years supervisory experience, 18+ age, and a friendly team-oriented attitude. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• To be an Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market you must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team.
• Ability to give and take direction in a team environment and handle customer calls and special orders.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure excellent customer service.
• Unload deliveries and operate bakery equipment; maintain safety and sanitation standards.
