Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in retail grocery and 2 years in supervision, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and lead Bakery Clerks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Bakery team supervision.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure quality.
• Ensure excellent customer service and proper bakery product quality.
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines across the team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
