Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to support daily operations of the Bakery Department. You will lead Bakery Clerks, assist the Bakery Manager, and ensure product quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 2+ years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. A positive attitude and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience are required.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to use equipment safely per store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build appealing displays; monitor incoming cases for damages.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and health guidelines are followed by the team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced environment.
